2017 Fruits of the Spirit Series: Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self-Control

And just like that, Christmas is over and the New Year is just a few days away. It never ceases to amaze me how fast time truly flies. I want to thank ALL of you who have been regular readers, occasional stopper-byers or first-time folks that visit KISS in the Kitchen. Most of you know the story behind the blog name, but my dad always used to tell me to “Keep it simple, Shannon” and it seems close to the 3rd decade of my life I actually started practicing this. I still fail all the time, but it’s always my goal to provide simple, nutritious (most of the time) and delicious recipes for y’all!

We’ve already covered love, joypeace, patience, kindness and goodness in The Fruits of the Spirit Recipes Series. Today’s fourth and final post is all about recipes for faithfulnessgentleness and self-control. Simply put, my dietitian friends have provided the recipes that are their “no-fail, old faithful” go-to for breakfast, lunch or dinner, plus some recipes that are gentle on digestion and lastly- a few decadent desserts that require a bit of self-control to not devour the whole batch!
