Hi y’all! I feel like I’m starting to sound like a broken record when I say things like “I meant to have this post up last week, BUT….”. But really. Life happens. Holidays happen. Family happens. And as much as I LOVE this series, I had to let it go on the back burner for a few days while tending to some higher priorities. Isn’t that life in a nutshell- figuring out how to reprioritize on a daily, if not sometimes, hourly basis? And that skill (that I have yet to fully master) takes a lot of patience! And then it takes the ability to have peace with whatever decision you made. We can’t please everyone. One yes to somebody means a required no to somebody else. And that’s okay.
Enjoy the recipes below that are filled with peace (lavender, honey and other soothing ingredients) and then some lovely overnight or slow-cooker recipes that take a patience while they cook (not necessarily a lot of hands-on time), but are so worth the wait!
Peace
Philippians 4:7 “And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.”
Patience
With all the hustle and bustle of the holidays, this collection of recipes will help save you time! They do require a bit of patience as they take a little while to cook!
1 Corinthians 13:4 “Love is patient, love is kind….”
Thank you to all who have followed along with this series and also to those who have contributed recipes! Stay tuned for kindness and goodness recipes coming your way later this week! <3 Shannon
