Baby Shower Brunch Recipes

I’m still on such a high from my own baby shower last weekend. My best friend (also known as @ThePaleoDietitian on Insta) went all out with the help of many other friends and family, to create a beautiful, delicious and special shower. My original vision was a small, intimate home shower with a fun brunch-themed menu (recipes links provided further in the post!), but we are blessed with a large family and friend group so the small shower idea quickly went out the window.

Including all my brunchy from-scratch recipes would be doable for a few dozen ladies, but not for 70 (yep, I had almost 70 amazing women come to shower our sweet little baby with love!). That being said, Brittany included so much of what I was hoping for and I’m sharing a few pics below! Keep scrolling for some easy, delicious and also allergy-friendly baby shower brunch recipes!

Is that not the prettiest tray of granola and bowl of berries you’ve ever seen? That DIY Berry Granola Parfait was quite a hit! Mini quiches, fruits and vegetable trays, pigs in a blanket, croissant sandwiches and pinwheels were among this gorgeous spread. P.S. She handmade that tassle decor in front of the table!

You can probably guess that some of those items aren’t gluten-free, but for those of us with food restrictions we had pre-made some Berry Granola Parfaits with GF granola, DF yogurt, a GF vegetable breakfast casserole and some Bird Bakery GF cupcakes- super yum!

I’ve also put together some of my favorite baby shower recipes for you below. From miniature parfaits to overnight French Toast bakes to brownies, you’ll find some great inspo for your baby shower, bridal shower or even Mother’s Day brunch!

Miniature Strawberry Pretzel Salad Parfaits (GF, Vegan)
Breakfast meatballs with lean ground beef and granny smith apples
Breakfast Meatballs made with Shredded Apples and Maple Syrup
Gluten-Free Berry Waffle Skewers
Berry waffle skewers are so simple you don’t even need a recipe! Just toast and quarter your favorite gluten-free or regular frozen waffle then place on a wooden skewer with a variety of berries!
Gluten-Free Lemon Cupcakes with Lemon Buttercream
Fudgy Avocado Blender Brownies (GF, DF)
Gluten-Free Blueberry Lemon Overnight French Toast Bake
Cranberry Avocado Deviled Eggs
Blueberry Pecan Chicken Salad

Nothing beats letting your guests get involved in the food prep! It saves you time and allows them to personalize what they like, like these Berry Yogurt Granola Parfaits. You can put a variety of granolas out (from homemade to gluten-free to purchased in bulk at Costco!), different berries and a few flavors of yogurt then let the mom-to-be and guests create their own parfait.

KISS Tip: Include some non-dairy yogurt options for those who may be sensitive to dairy!

Toasted Coconut Walnut Granola
Broiled Grapefruit with Sugar & Spices

Whether you’re planning a baby shower, bridal shower, Mother’s Day brunch or just celebrating Spring time, I hope you found these recipes helpful! And remember, when in doubt- just KISS it ;). <3 Shannon
