Making a coffee smoothie with leftover coffee, frozen banana, milk, almond butter and ice is the smartest and most delicious way to not let that remaining coffee go to waste. Let’s take that cold cup of coffee from this morning (I see you) and keep you going! I believe in you. You got this!

How do I make a Coffee Smoothie?
If you’re wondering how to not waste that cold cup of coffee from this morning, make a coffee smoothie!
- Half cup of coffee- However you like it
- Milk of choice- My go to right now is unsweetened oatmilk
- Frozen banana- I alway have a stasher bag in my freezer for smoothies
- Nut butter of your choosing- I like using raw almond butter
- Ice to thicken
- Optional additions for added flavor or a kick!
- Chocolate
- Cinnamon
- Nutmeg
- Maple Syrup
- Whiskey
- Kahlua

In this season of life it’s a rare occurrence to actually be able to finish a cup of coffee. At the same time, coffee seems more crucial then ever while trying to keep two little people alive and thriving! My blender is one of the most used appliances in our home (I even love to use it for non-smoothie recipes, like these Fudgy Avocado Blender Brownies!) and it only makes sense to use it for redeeming that frequent cup of leftover coffee.

You may also be wondering what you can do with the leftover coffee smoothie since the chances of you being able to finish that might also be small! I can personally attest to adding some whiskey (Bulleit is my favorite) and pouring into an ice cream machine for the tastiest adult dessert. If you actually want to try making leftover coffee smoothie ice cream, I would suggest multiplying the recipe by 4 and adding 1/2 cup of whiskey! You can thank me later for that tip ;).
In all seriousness, I hope you get to finish as many cups of coffee as possible. And when you don’t get to, I hope this coffee smoothie recipe helps you enjoy your morning cup of Jo in a different and fun way!
