Creating Mushroom Blends at Home
If you can’t find Monterey Mushroom’s “Let’s Blend” product in your local grocery store, you can make your own at home! The blend of seasoned and finely diced mushrooms adds flavor to any type of dish!
To make Let’s Blend at home, all you have to do is finely dice 8 oz. of mushrooms to match the consistency of ground meat, add your preferred seasoning choice, and blend it with whatever meat you are using.
It really is that simple and adds so much flavor! Here are the three Let’s Blend Seasoning recipes so you can blend at home – enjoy!
Let’s Blend Italian Seasoning
1 tsp. dried basil
1 tsp. dried rosemary
1/2 tsp. oregano (or dried marjoram)
1/2 tsp. dried thyme
1/2 tsp. salt
or use  1 Tbsp. Salt-Free Italian Herb blend + 1/2 tsp. salt
Add seasoning blend to 8 oz. of finely diced mushrooms.Â
Let’s Blend Classic Seasoning
1/2 tsp. onion powder
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. cayenne (red) pepper
1/8 tsp. crushed coriander (optional)
1/8 tsp. dried rosemary
or use 1 1/2 tsp. Steak Seasoning blend
Add seasoning blend to 8 oz. of finely diced mushrooms.Â
Let’s Blend Mexican Seasoning
1 Tbsp. mild chile powder
1 tsp. cumin powder
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. onion powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
1/8 tsp. cayenne (red) pepper
or use 2 Tbsp. Taco Seasoning blend
